The Wolves

Lydia Brooks is an Author with her first book being published and available to purchase on Amazon! She loves to write and was enjoying selling autographed copies at our market in Cincinnati.

CEM: Tell us about your business. How did you first get the idea?
Lydia: I got the idea when it just came to me, I thought wouldn’t it be crazy to have a book about a wolf who had the power of ice had to save a family. It kind of started from there and I published it in May.

CEM: What supplies and resources did you need to get going? How did you get ahold of them?
Lydia: I had to find a curriculum to follow and guide me. And another thing was figuring out direct publishing. Otherwise, I just had to write.

CEM: What are some challenges you’ve faced in business, and how did you overcome them?
Lydia: Uh, I hit a lot of writing blocks. I overcame them, but another thing was just reminding myself to do it otherwise I’d be weeks back. The funny thing is every time I would get caught up it would be a catch-up week.

CEM: Do you have any advice for other aspiring kid entrepreneurs?
Lydia: Don’t stop, you’ll get to achieve your goal someday if you work hard!
