Emma’s Popcorn Story
Five year old Emma was our frequent flyer in 2021, participating in 8 markets! She even traveled to St. George and sold her heart out in 106 degrees and can’t wait to do it again. Click the video to meet this impressive entrepreneur.
CEM: “How did the popcorn idea start?”
EMMA: “Well, my mom used to own a popcorn business in Tennessee and I would go with her every day. Now I get to do it for real too!”
CEM: “What do you like about selling popcorn?”
EMMA: “Um…it makes me feel good inside because I’m giving something to people.”
CEM: “What is hard about making or selling popcorn?”
EMMA: “Hmm, that I have to stand for a very, very, very long time.”
CEM: “What have you learned from selling at the markets?”
EMMA: “Uhh…smiling and being cute makes people come see me and maybe they want to try my popcorn. The more popcorn I sold, the more money I get and I get to buy stuff from the other kids!”
