Caleb and Carson have participated in the Children’s Entrepreneur Market program for 3 years now. They started their business called Two Brothers Rubs and Spices in 2017 because their family loves to BBQ and they wanted to earn money for new bikes. After experimenting with lots of recipes and ingredients, they created a set of 4 rubs that are a huge hit! They created the labels, the packaging, and even some fun names for the rubs: “Glub, Oink, Moo, Cluck”.
The boys have found that the easiest way to talk to adults at the market, was to offer them a sample, then suggest other ways to use the spices. They sell their rubs at the markets, in their community and on their new website, Two Brothers Rubs and Spices!
In 2021, Caleb and Carson received a $500 grant and personalized business coaching from a generous local entrepreneur, to go towards building their business. Be sure to come visit their booth at the 2022 markets and try their delicious rubs!
