These two brothers, Nathaniel, 13 and Emmitt, 10, together created their business, Sweet Wheels Quick Breads. We caught up with them at the Clarksville, TN market and asked them some questions.
Nathaniel says, “We got our idea because we like baking and he [Emmitt] wants to buy his own laptop so we are going to split the money. We decided to make a lot of bread and we are selling it here.” Emmitt added, “We only found out a week ago so we have been busy all week!”
When I asked them what supplies and resources they needed to get their business started, Nathaniel quipped, “We needed our parents to buy the supplies to bake them and their electricity and oven.”
When asked about any challenges they faced Nathaniel was quick to say “Mostly making sure we could make enough bread on time!”
“It helps if you have someone with you,” Nathaniel said with an arm around his brother. “So then if you get tired of doing the same thing every day there is someone there to help you.”
