The Buzy Bees have an amazing goal that they are working toward, which you

On April 8, 2023, we had the pleasure of meeting sweet siblings, Amaris (14), Adiel (10), Juju (9), Ari (6), and Aly, who own Buzy Bees! Their products consist of bath bombs, keychains, and bags, which are all hand-crafted! The Buzy Bees have an amazing goal that they are working toward, which you’ll learn about here in our interview.

Tell us about your business. How did you first get the idea?

We’re selling items to raise money for our little sister with Autism (Aly), to help pay for a support puppy. We had the idea to sell these things because were gonna do a pop-up and wanted to make hand-crafted stuff so we made bath bombs.

What supplies and resources did you need to get going? How did you get a hold of them?

We needed to buy the stuff for the bath bombs, so we got epsom salt, citric acid, oils, dye, and molds. For the keychains we ordered blank keychains, and we got vinyl and cut out the vinyl on a Cricut and put them on the keychains. For the bags, we pressed on with the heat press.

What are some challenges you’ve faced in business, and how did you overcome them?

For the bath bombs, at first when we were trying to put them together, they were just falling apart! We found a new recipe that works for us.

Do you have any advice for other aspiring kid entrepreneurs?

Find something you like to do, and that you’re really good at, and make it so other people can see what you can do and buy it. Also, when people come up, just smile and greet them and be kind to them.

How can potential customers get in touch with you?

Well we could give them an email or number to contact us, or even a social media handle. We are posting on our parent’s accounts.

What a hard-working, precious group of siblings! We loved to see them all working together as a team to reach their family goal. See you again soon, Buzy Bees!
